The relationship with the photograph, the viewer and the creator become tangled within the machine. The meaning does not easily rise to the surface. The context is experienced where the viewer paints his or her own projections. The photographs are failures in the conventional sense where color is the only thing that succeeds. Titling changes the dynamic, relying on the viewer’s imagination.
